Tata Steel Urban Services Plans Literary Events

Meeting chaired by J. Xavier Topno results in decisions for upcoming literary programs

A meeting was held on Wednesday at Tata Steel Urban Services, attended by several prominent literary figures.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Urban Services hosted a meeting chaired by J. Xavier Topno, Head of Urban Services, with notable litterateurs in attendance, including Keshav Kumar Ranjan and Gururbari Hembram.

The meeting, organized by Dr. Hasan Imam Malik, included participation from Jainandan, Ahmed Badr, Dr. Yahiya Ibrahim, Anwar Adeeb, Dr. Azad, Gauhar Aziz, Rizwan Aurangabadi, and Syed Sajid Parvez.

Decisions and Upcoming Events

Several key decisions were made during the meeting. It was decided to organize condolence meetings for two Hindi and Urdu litterateurs and to hold a Kavi Sammelan and Mushaira program for local poets.

These events will be followed by an Akhil Bharatiya Kavi Sammelan and Mushaira, set to begin at the end of this month and continue until September.

Committee Formation

A committee was formed to oversee these programs. J. Xavier Topno will chair the committee, with Keshav Kumar Ranjan as vice-chairman and Dr. Hasan Imam Malik as the convener.

Jainandan will oversee the Hindi program, while Dr. Mohammad Reyaz will head the Urdu programs.

Honoring Litterateurs

Tata Steel will honor two litterateurs during these events.

Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, Jainandan, and Keshav Kumar Ranjan expressed their gratitude to Tata Steel for its significant contribution to literature.

Dr. Hasan Imam Malik extended the vote of thanks.
