JNAC flying squad checks for trade licences in Bistupur

Jamshedpur: JNAC launched a checking campaign for trade licences in different shops and establishments of Bistupur.

A flying squad of the JNAC, formed on the instructions of the Special Officer Krishna Kumar, checked the trade licences of several shops and warned those shopkeepers whose licences were not in order.

The flying squad was led by the City Manager Sonal Singh.

Later, the City Manager Sonal Singh said that four shopkeepers were asked to get their trade licences within the next 4 days.

He said that all the four shopkeepers have only been warned. However, next time action would be taken under Municipal Act 2011.

He said that Bhatia Medical, Bajaj Finance and other shops were checked. He said that if any shopkeeper is running business in the municipal area without a valid trade license, due action would be taken.

He also asked all the shopkeepers to follow the covid protocol too. City Manager Sonal Singh said trade license can be obtained at Jan Suvidha Kendra near Bistupur South Park Chinmaya School.

He appealed to all the shopkeepers to get their trade license as soon as possible for carrying out business unhindered.
