Rotary Club sets up dialysis centre at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Bhilai Hill

Jamshedpur: A dialysis center was inaugurated by Rotary Club at Bhilai Hill St. Joseph’s Hospital located on NH 33. The cost of dialysis machine is around 25 lakhs.

Financial support was provided by Rotary International District. The credit for completing this mega humanitarian medical project within Rotary year time frame goes to the President Rotarian D.N. Jena, Secretary Rotarian Pramod Dubey, Senior Rotarian Manish Jain, PDG Chiranjeev Khandelwal, PDG Dr R Bharat and PP Gyan Taneja.

Rotary Club, Jamshedpur thanked DG Rotarian Rajan Gandotra and DRFC Sanjay Khemka, for their guidance and support for completing the project in the Rotary year 2020-21.

The entire infrastructure including the building for the Dialysis Center was provided by the St. Joseph’s Hospital Management, Bhilai Hill.

Dialysis Center with two Haemo-dialysis Machines including RO Water Generation Plant, Full Fowler Bed, LED Monitor, UPS, LED TV, Air Conditioner, Printer and Desk Top Computer with Voltage Stabiliser, Oxygen Concentrator, Oxygen Cylinder, Wheel Chair, Trolley Stretcher, Rectifier Refrigerator, reception table chair and waiting chair were provided for the attendees along with drinking water facility and toilets.

It also has a changing room for technicians and nurses along with a separate washing facility for the dialyser.

Chief guest DG Rotarian Rajan Gandotra and Chairman Rotarian D.N. Jena officially handed over the Dialysis Center to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Management, Bhilai Hill to provide better healthcare facilities to the needy living in the surrounding areas.

The special guest at the opening ceremony, Rev. Bishop Telesphor Billung congratulated everyone for the success of this dialysis centre.

On this occasion First Lady of the Rotary District Rotarian Anu Gandotra, Director – St Joseph’s Hospital Father Vincent David, Father Pius of Loyola School, Sister Gracie of Mercy Hospital, DGE Pratim Banerjee, DRFC Sanjay Khemka, PDG Vijay Mehta, PDG Ronald D ‘Costa, PDG Dr. R. Bharat, Rotary Femina President Shashi Gadia, PP Gyan Taneja, PP Sharat Chandran, Secretary Rotarian Pramod Dubey, Rotarian Aruna Taneja, Rotarian KT Gabba, Rotarian Vijay Vaidyanathan, PP Sunil Marwah, Rotarian Prabir Patel, Rotarian Mithilesh Jha, Rotarian Kaustubh Kumar, Rotarian Rupak Pasari, Rotarian Raman Jha and Rotarian Aditya Mishra were also present.
