Corona claims 1 more life in Jharkhand, total deaths now at 1,086

Ranchi: Coronavirus pandemic has claimed 1 life in Jharkhand on Monday – in Ranchi district – taking the total death toll for the state to 1,086.

According to official data, 41 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported from different parts of the state taking the total number of positive cases in the state till date to 1,19,637.

On the other hand, 45 patients of corona were also cured and discharged from different hospitals. The total number of recovered patients in the state has now reached 1,18,103.

Till date, 54,57,670 samples have been tested in the state. Out of these, 1,19,637 samples have tested positive.

For now, the state has 448 active cases of coronavirus infection.

The recovery rate in the state has now reached 98.71%, while the mortality rate is at 0.90%.

East Singhbhum district remains the most affected district of the state with 375 deaths
