Coronavirus claims 3 more lives in Jharkhand, 45 new cases on Wednesday
Ranchi: Wednesday did not go well for Jharkhand as 3 lives were lost to coronavirus pandemic. All three deaths on Wednesday were reported from Ranchi district. With this, the total death toll for the state climbed up to 1,081.
According to official data, 45 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported from different districts of the state. The total number of positive cases till date in the state has now reached 1,19,161. On the other hand, 42 patients were also cured and discharged. The total recoveries in the state have now reached 1,17,616.
As per official data, the state has tested 53,11,257 samples till date. Out of these, 1,19,161 have tested positive. For now, the state has 464 active cases of coronavirus infection.
The recovery rate in the state has now reached 98.70%, while the mortality rate is at 0.90%.
