Youth caught red-handed attempting bike theft in Adityapur

Jamshedpur: A youth was caught red-handed while trying to steal a bike parked in the parking of Mithila Motors Show Room in Adityapur under the jurisdiction of Adityapur police station in Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

A master key was seized from his possession.

The management of Mithila Motors handed over the youth to Adityapur police.

A bike was stolen from the parking lot of Mithila Motors even in January 25 last.

Today, the staff members found a youth loitering around in the parking lot in a suspicious manner.

When he was interrogated, he did not answer the questions correctly. However, during interrogation, a master key was found in his possession.

The arrested youth said that he has been carrying out such bike thefts at the behest of a person who is currently lodged in prison.

He also named two other youths as his accomplices.

The arrested accused has confessed that he was also involved in the bike theft that had taken place on January 25 from Mithila Motors parking lot as well as a bike stolen from RIT Turnaround on January 15 last.

The police have arrested the youth and taken him to Adityapur police station.
