12 days of zero corona death in Jamshedpur, total deaths static at 375
Jamshedpur: The city and East Singhbhum district have passed 12 days without any death being caused by coronavirus. During more than 45 days, there has been only one death caused by the virus. The total death toll due to the virus remains static at 375 in the city even on Thursday.
According to official data, 7 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in East Singhbhum district. With this, the total number of coronavirus infected patients in East Singhbhum district has reached 18,002.
On the other hand, 15 new cases of Corona virus were also detected in East Singhbhum district.
The total number of patients in the state has now reached 18,002. The number of active cases of Corona virus infections in East Singhbhum district has now come down to 69 only.
As per official data, East Singhbhum district has tested 5,17,535 samples till Thursday. Out of these samples 18,002 samples have tested positive while a total of 4,99,533 samples have tested negative.
According to official data the recovery rate for East Singhbhum district has now reached 97.57%, while the mortality rate is hovering around 2.08%. The positivity rate is at 3.48%. East Singhbhum district remains the worst affected districts of Jharkhand state.
