JAMSHEDPUR – The Joint Action Committee, led by Chairman Shri Rakeshwar Pandey, convened today at his residence, drawing key officials and general secretaries from various companies under the committee’s umbrella.
This meeting marked a crucial step in advocating for workers’ rights and union empowerment.
Key topics included increasing the fund for the Joint Action Committee and the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) in Jharkhand.
Deliberations focused on the formation of district and block-level committees to bolster INTUC’s presence and effectiveness.
A major point of discussion was addressing the challenges faced by temporary labor in Jharkhand and improving their access to government facilities.
The committee proposed extending the duration of trade union elections in India from every three years to five years.
