Rising Sun English School Celebrates “Green Day” with Students and Parents

Green Day Celebration promotes the message of environmental and nature conservation, says Dinesh Kumar.

Rising Sun English School, Cable Basti, hosted a "Green Day Celebration" in its auditorium to educate children about the importance of nature and environmental conservation.

JAMSHEDPUR – Rising Sun English School, Cable Basti, organized a "Green Day Celebration" today to teach children about the significance of nature and environmental conservation.

The event was coordinated by the school’s teachers, Sara Masih and Muskan Kumari, with a welcome address by the Principal, Lubna Noor Khan.

The event was graced by BJP’s former District President and School Committee President Dinesh Kumar, along with School Management Committee General Secretary Parmanand Kaushal.

The celebration began with young children dressed in green, performing a ramp walk to symbolize greenery, followed by a play that conveyed a powerful message on nature conservation and the need to stop deforestation.

The play was well received by everyone present.

To further enhance the children’s understanding, the event included a quiz on green topics, as well as poetry recitations in Hindi and English.

In his address, Dinesh Kumar emphasized that Green Day sends a vital message of nature and environmental preservation.

He urged parents to teach their children the importance of green vegetables, fruits, and other small ways to connect with nature at home.

He highlighted that the climate change we are witnessing, including water shortages and irregular weather patterns, is largely due to deforestation and environmental imbalance.

He stressed the importance of educating the younger generation about maintaining ecological balance and encouraged planting and preserving trees.

The event concluded with the children participating in a tree plantation activity.

Prominent attendees included Amit Kumar Singh, Archana Singh, Kaushik Dutta, Seema, Anusiya Kumari, Rekha Kumari, Trilochan Kaur, and several teachers from the English school, including Lubna Noor Khan, Nirmala Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Iram Parveen, Sara Masih, Muskan Kumari, Diksha Kumari, Rita Sharma, Kumkum Singh, Kritika Singh, and Archana Singh.
