Rambha College of Nursing Hosts Conference on Quality Assurance and Standards in Nursing Practice

International Nursing Day Celebration Features Keynote Speakers, Book Release, and Poster Competition

Rambha College of Nursing, Gitilta, organized a conference on "Quality Assurance and Standards in Nursing Practice" to commemorate International Nursing Day on Saturday.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a celebration of the nursing profession and its critical role in healthcare, Rambha College of Nursing, Gitilta, hosted a thought-provoking conference on International Nursing Day.

The event, centered around the theme "Quality Assurance and Standards in Nursing Practice," brought together esteemed speakers and professionals from the nursing and education sectors.

Professor Devasmita Tripathi from NPM School and College of Nursing Keonjhar, Odisha, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the need for innovation and activism in the nursing and health sectors.

The conference featured distinguished guest speakers, including Professor Santoshini Jena from Sadhguru College of Nursing Odisha, Dr. Dara Singh Gupta, Assistant Professor and NSS Coordinator from Kolhan University, Bijli Mathew, Principal of Sadar Hospital, and Professor Rajat Kumar Pandey from Gandhi College of Nursing.

The event commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and prayers, followed by a welcome song and dance performance by student Divya.

Secretary Gaurav Bachan, in his opening remarks, highlighted the respectability and necessity of the nursing profession, urging everyone to show their appreciation for nurses.

President Ram Bachan, in his blessings, emphasized the value of educational events in providing opportunities for learning and growth.

A significant highlight of the conference was the release of the book "NEP 2020: Revival of Education," a compilation of works authored by the faculty of Rambha Educational Institute.

The book was unveiled by the esteemed guests, with Dr. Suman Lata elaborating on its subject matter.

Nursing students showcased their creativity through a poster-making competition, judged by Bijli Mathew and Professor Santoshini Jena.

Rishu Raj emerged as the winner, followed by P Divya Roshni and Khushi Kumari in second and third places, respectively.

The second session of the conference featured paper presentations by Assistant Professor Risali, Assistant Professor Monisha, Tutor Namani, and Rajat Kumar Pandey of Gandhi Nursing College.

The event was skillfully conducted by Assistant Professor Risali and Tutor Vasanti Tiu, with Tutor Namani Bhuiyan delivering the vote of thanks.

The success of the program was attributed to the efforts of Principal Dr. Sanjoy, Assistant Professor Monisha Santra, Tutor Pooja Lohar, Shilpa Kumari, Dr. Suman Lata, Lecturer Amrita Suren, and other dedicated team members.
