7 days of no corona death in Jamshedpur, 4 new cases

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum and Jamshedpur city have once more completed 7 days on Saturday without any corona-caused death. The total death toll remains at 375, even while 4 more fresh cases were detected in the district taking the total number of infections in the district to 17,966.

According to official data, 19 cases were also cured and discharged on Saturday. With this, the total number of cured persons has now reached 17,485 in the district.

For now, the district has only 106 active cases of coronavirus infection. Till date, the district has tested 5,10,658 samples, out of which 4,92,692 samples have tested negative, while 17,966 have tested positive.

The recovery rate in the district has reached 97.34%, while the death rate remains at 2.09%. The positivity rate for the district till Saturday was 3.52%.
