BJM dissolves all units, restructuring and expansion on cards
Jamshedpur: All the units of Bhartiya Jan Morcha have been dissolved. The party is now being revamped and restructured as well as being expanded.
Bhartiya Jan Morcha is a party founded by Saryu Roy. It came into existence just before the last Assembly elections, when Saryu Roy was denied a ticket by Bhartiya Janata Party and as a result, he not only formed a new party, but also fought the assembly elections and won Jamshedpur East seat routing no less than the sitting MLA and then CM Raghubar Das.
During the expansion of the party, all the old and seasoned party workers are being given new responsibilities.
The responsibility of the Jamshedpur unit has been given to Subodh Srivastava. He would expand the district committee of the party.
In the coming days, the party would also form state and national leel committees.
Saryu Roy now wants to strengthen his party at all levels. BJP had not lost Jamshedpur seat for the last 25 years. It was due to the ground level workers and their enthusiasm that enabled Saryu Roy to defeat BJP candidate Raghubar Das in Assembly elections.
Saryu Roy has grand ambitions for BJM and restructuring is a step towards realising those ambitions.
