JAMSHEDPUR – It was a Laddoo time in Sonari at the residential office of senior advocate of Jamshedpur Sudhir Kumar Pappu. He distributed laddoos to celebrate the historic win of INDIA alliance, being a hardcore supporter of the alliance.
The I.N.D.I.A. Alliance has won a historic majority in Jharkhand’s Assembly elections. Hemant Soren will be sworn in as the 14th Chief Minister on November 28, 2024. And this was enough to warrant a big celebration.
Senior advocate Sudhir Kumar Pappu celebrated the victory at his Sonari office in Jamshedpur. He cut a cake and distributed sweets with supporters and well-wishers. Pappu said, "This win is a rejection of deceitful and divisive politics."
Several prominent individuals attended the event. Among them were Ajay Rajak, Arvind Singh, Haridas, Baby Kaur, and Ashok Singh. Other attendees included Swapna Roy, Abhishek Sharma, and Sarvesh Kumar.
Soren’s upcoming term will be his third time leading the state. He previously served in 2013 and 2019. The alliance’s victory signals a preference for inclusive politics in Jharkhand.
The I.N.D.I.A. Alliance’s campaign focused on development and unity. Observers see this as a blow to polarizing tactics used by the opposition.
