Third supplementary budget of Rs 4981 crore approved in Jharkhand Assembly’s turbulent session.

RANCHI – Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon is set to present the government’s last full budget tomorrow.

The session was adjourned amidst opposition uproar, resuming after a brief pause.

BJP lawmakers disrupted proceedings, demanding a CBI investigation into the CGL exam leak.

Chief Whip Biranchi Narayan highlighted the selling of question papers for lakhs.

Alamgir Alam assured the House of the ongoing SIT investigation, open to further action if needed.

Opposition Leader Amar Bauri criticized the government’s reluctance for a CBI inquiry.

The Speaker’s call for order went unheeded as the BJP continued their protest.

The assembly faced adjournment before resuming, marking a contentious day over the exam scandal.
