Divisional Youth Festival Concludes with Outstanding Performances
Winners Set to Represent Palamu Division in State-Level Competition

MEDININAGAR – The Divisional Youth Festival, organized by the Department of Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs along with Nehru Yuva Kendra and NSS, concluded successfully at the District School premises.
The event brought together district-level winners from across the division. “This festival has provided an excellent platform for young talents to showcase their abilities,” a senior official remarked.
Cultural Showcase
The festival featured diverse competitions including group and solo folk dances. Moreover, participants demonstrated their skills in folk songs, poetry writing, and storytelling.
Riya Kumari from Palamu secured first place in solo dance. Meanwhile, the Ravindra Singh group emerged victorious in group dance performances.
Literary and Scientific Achievements
In the speech competition, Pratima Kumari clinched the top position. Additionally, Alka Kumari won first prize in poetry writing.
The science exhibition saw enthusiastic participation. Furthermore, Dilip Kumar Prajapati’s group showcased innovative projects.
Future Prospects
The first-place winners will represent the division at the state level. “The selected participants will compete against talents from across Jharkhand,” an organizing committee member explained.
On the other hand, photography winners Shailendra Oraon and Diksha Kumari received special recognition. Besides, the event was judged by notable personalities including Dr. Dilip Kumar and poet Harivansh Prabhat.
