Coronavirus claims 8 lives on Monday in Jharkhand, total death toll 905

246 new cases, 458 cured, 4,251 active cases

Ranchi: After a few days of lull in the number of deaths caused by coronavirus, the death toll is once again rising in the state. On Monday, coronavirus claimed 8 lives in Jharkhand, taking the total death toll in the state due to the virus to 905.

According to official data, on Monday itself, 246 new coronavirus infection cases were detected. On the other hand, 458 patients were also cured and discharged. 8 persons have succumbed to the disease.

As per official data, till Monday, 36,56,926 samples have been tested in the state. Out of these, 1,04,688 samples have tested positive. For now, there are 4,251 active coronavirus cases in the state.

99,532 patients have already been cured and discharged, while 905 patients of coronavirus have succumbed to the virus.
