First lady surgeon from Jharkhand to head prestigious surgeons’ body

Jamshedpur: Dr Arunima Verma who is presently the head of Department of Surgery, Tata Motors Hospital, Jamshedpur, became the chairperson of Association of Surgeon’s of India ( ASI Jharkhand) Jharkhand State for the year 2020 – 21 in the recently held state conference of society.

She is 1st lady surgeon from Jharkhand to became Chairperson of this prestigious society which is a part of ASI, India.

Dr Arunima Verma did her MBBS from Ranchi and MS from Darbhanga. She has worked in England also.

She has also done her MRCS from UK and is a fellow of American Surgeon Society ( AFSI ).

She has vast experience in minimal invasive laproscopic surgeon, is a renowned teacher of national repute and has more than 20 scientific publications in various national and international Journals.
