Coronavirus in Jharkhand on Tuesday: 4 deaths, 318 new cases, 506 cured

Total death toll reaches 876, total infections 1,00,224

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 4 more lives on Tuesday in Jharkhand. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the virus in Jharkhand has reached 876.

According to official data released by the health department, a total of 31,52,647 samples have been tested by the state till Tuesday. Out of these, 1,00,224 samples have tested positive.

For now, the state has 5,474 active cases of coronavirus infection.

On the other hand, till Tuesday, 93,874 patients have also been cured and discharged in the state.

On Tuesday itself, a total of 318 new coronavirus infection cases have been detected in the state, taking the total number of infections to beyond 1 lakh.

On Tuesday, 506 patients were also cured and discharge din different districts of the state.

With 4 deaths the total death tally has reached 876.

East Singhbhum remains the most affected district of the state.
