197 active Corona cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district, total deaths 11

Seraikela: 11 persons have died of coronavirus infection in Seraikela-Kharsawan district till Wednesday. The number of active cases in the district has now come below 200 and has reached 197 after several weeks.

According to official data, the district has tested 1,21,229 samples till Wednesday. Out of these, 1,14,572 samples have been found negative, while 3,387 samples have tested positive.

Till date, 3,179 patients have also been cured and discharged. 11 persons have succumbed to the virus till date.

The number of active cases right now is 197. Till date, test reports of 3,411 samples are still awaited.

On Wednesday, 1,308 samples have been collected. The district has eight quarantine centres. But, no one has been housed at any of such centres.
