Driving licence issue and renewal process restarts in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: In a major development bringing big relief to the common citizens, the official process of issuing new driving licences and renewal of driving licences has begun.

Owing to the Coronavirus pandemic functioning of most of the government offices had come to a standstill as the focus of government machinery had shifted to containing the pandemic.

However, after a hiatus of about eight months, the official process of issuing driving licences has formally begun.

Driving licence issue process restarts in Jamshedpur after a period of 8 months.

A large number of applicants were seen standing in queues for getting their driving licences issued.

One such applicant, Shashi Bhushan Lohara, said: “It is a matter of great relief that the licences are once again being issued. Corona lockdown had caused a lot of problems and we were waiting for issue of licence.”.
