Chota Cop, Farishtey Initiatives Teach Safety in Sonari

In a unique drive to enhance safety awareness among children and adults, Team Road Safety of Young Indians (Yi) in collaboration with Team Rural Initiatives of Young Indians (Yi) organized an engaging session titled "Chota Cop and Farishtey" at Domuhani Basti, Sonari. The event, conducted in association with the Robin Hood Army, aimed at instilling a sense of responsibility and knowledge about safety practices among the local community.

JAMSHEDPUR – In an innovative approach to community safety and education, Team Road Safety alongside Team Rural Initiatives of Young Indians took a significant step by conducting the "Chota Cop and Farishtey" awareness sessions at Domuhani Basti, Sonari.

The initiative was designed to educate both children and adults on the importance of safety measures, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate their environments safely.

In partnership with the Robin Hood Army, a volunteer-based organization known for its efforts in fighting hunger and providing education, the session marked a unique collaboration aimed at bolstering community welfare through educational outreach.

This session focused on a range of safety topics, including traffic rules, the importance of public and personal safety, and emergency response techniques.

Children, referred to as ‘Chota Cops,’ were particularly encouraged to take an active role in promoting safety within their families and peer groups.

Adults, on the other hand, participated in the ‘Farishtey’ segment, which aimed at raising awareness about general safety practices and creating a network of informed citizens ready to act in times of need.
