Body of a missing minor girl-child found on river banks

Jamshedpur: In a gruesome and shocking development, the dead body of a 5-year-old minor girl-child was found on the banks of the river in Sonari. The child had been missing for the last 3 days.

Her body was found Wednesday morning on the banks of the river.

The news spread like a wildfire in the entire area as locals assembled at the place.

The most shocking is the fact that her hand was, according to reports, severed and her body was found without clothes.

She had gone missing and her family members had lodged a written complaint about this with Sonari police.

On Wednesday the body was located on the banks of river.

The police arrived at the site and sent the body for post mortem.

A relative of the deceased child said that he used to look after the child as her father was not alive.

He said that he had gone out of house for work and the child had gone missing.

He said that mother of the child had informed Sonari police with a written complaint.

The family tried to find the child on their own but could not trace her.

The family lived in Kapali Bhattha, Sonari, Jamshedpur.
