Jamshedpur: The Pradhan of Jharkhand State Gurudwara Committee Sardar Shailendra Singh has submitted a memorandum to the DC of East Singhbhum Suraj Kumar urging him to take note of the rise in the number of deaths taking place in the city.

In his memorandum, Mr. Singh said that the rise in death figures for the city during the last few days has been shocking.

He said that while all the social, religious and political organisations as well as common masses have been trying to fight Corona and have been taking all the precautions, yet the number of deaths in the city are on the rise.

He said that most of the deaths are happening because of breathing problems. Apart from this, the number of deaths due to heart attacks and breathing complications have been on the rise.

He said that there are long queues in most of the the crematoriums in the city. And surprisingly, he said, in many cases the test reports of the deceased are negative too.

Why are so many deaths occurring, he asked. And he said that it is possible that a new disease might have reached the city and this needs close examination by experts.

He also drew the attention of the administration on the rise in the number of suicide cases in the city. He said that in most such cases financial problem and mental stress are being indicated as the reason.

He urged the DC to take action to reduce the number of deaths in the city. He also assured the DC of all co-operation from the Sikh community in any step that the administration takes for the welfare of citizens.
