Youth killed in road accident near Burmamines Sunsunia Gate

Jamshedpur: A 20-year-old youth died in a road accident near Burmamines Sunsunia Gate. He was run over by a truck.

He has been identified as Ritik Kumar Singh, 20, of Jhagdu Bagan, Laxminagar.

The locals informed Burmamines Police about the accident. The police arrived at the place and sent the dead body for post mortem.

The accident occurred at around 8 at night.

The accident victim has been identified as Ritik Kumar Singh of Jhagdu Bagan, Laxmi Nagar. He was 20 years of age.

Locals said that the deceased had gone to Sakchi for getting his mobile phone repaired. While returning home, a speeding truck dashed his bike and he was crushed on the spot.

After the police removed the dead body from the road, the locals started protesting.

The police have sent the body for post mortem.

Sources said that owing to the fear of Corona infection, no one came forward to help the youth. The youth had worn a mask on face.
