Tata Steel’s TechEx 2024 Exhibition Highlights AI’s Potential to Dramatically Reduce Costs

Tata Steel’s latest TechEx 2024 exhibition, focusing on AI’s role in slashing operational costs, unveils groundbreaking developments.

JAMSHEDPUR – The 14th iteration of the Science and Technology Exhibition, Tech-X, has captivated audiences in Bistupur with its forward-thinking theme and diverse projects.

The event’s emphasis on ‘Technology for People and Planet’ aligns with this year’s Founder’s Day celebrations.

Participants, including Tata Steel’s young talents and students from various colleges, presented 40 innovative projects.

A highlight was the presentation of 25 projects by Tata Steel cadre trainees, showcasing their technical prowess.

The exhibition, running until March 5, offers a glimpse into the future of technology from 9 am to 6 pm.

In a notable demonstration, AI software showcased how to reduce costs from Rs 2 crore to just Rs 2 lakh.

MD TV Narendran, alongside Tata Workers Union President Sanjeev Chaudhary Tunnu, inaugurated the exhibition, underlining its significance.

Technology’s Role in Sustainable Development

The showcased AI software exemplifies how technology can lead to substantial cost savings, highlighting a shift towards more efficient, sustainable practices.

The event served as a platform for demonstrating the practical applications of AI in reducing operational expenses, pointing towards a more economical future.
