Help Desk & Counselling Centre for Women inaugurated at Adityapur Police Station

Jamshedpur: The DIG of Kolhan, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Sunday inaugurated a Help Desk and Woman advisory Centre at Adityapur police station.

Addressing a small gathering here, he said that this Help Desk and Woman Advisory Centre would go a long way in helping the citizens of the area, especially the women.

He said that it is important for the police to win the confidence of the general masses and do everything to ensure that they do get help at the time when they need it most.

He also said that the woman Advisory Centre would help the women by providing timely help at the time when they need such help.

He said that more such people-friendly steps would be taken by the state police in the days to come to ensure that the police department is not only effective in overseeing the law and order situation, but also helps in making the lives of the citizens better.
