Corona effect: Jobless man ends it all in Mango

Jamshedpur: One Manish Tiwary, a resident of Baikunthnagar, Mango, committed suicide by hanging self to death on Tuesday, police said.

Sources said the deceased used to stay at a rented accommodation at Office Road in the said locality with his family members.

Tiwary, who used to work as a private security guard, was rendered jobless by the Corona pandemic recently.

He was facing financial problems. He took the extreme step when his wife had gone out to bring milk, sources said.

Owing to increase in depression and anxiety as well as financial and job-related issues, there has been a spurt in suicide cases in the recent times.
