One new Corona positive case in East Singhbhum, total now 270

Jamshedpur: One person has tested positive on Tuesday in East Singhbhum district. This has taken the total infected tally to 270 in the district.

The fresh positive patient is a resident of Musabani and he was kept under institutional quarantine. After confirmation of his Corona positive status, he is being admitted into a Covid ward.

Meanwhile, there is a good news from the city too. 5 persons were discharged from TMH Covid ward after they were cured. Out of these two are residents of New Baridih, one is from Haludbani, 1 from Dumaria and 1 is from Mango.

The district administration has again reiterated its appeal to the citizens to continue abiding by all the safety precautions to thwart the spread of the disease and to continue social distancing.
