8 teams to compete in Naval Tata Hockey Jharkhand Junior tournament

Naval Tata Hockey Jharkhand Junior State Hockey Championship 2024 (Men) begins August 4 at NTHA, Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Naval Tata Hockey Jharkhand Junior State Hockey Championship 2024 (Men) is set to commence on August 4 at the Naval Tata Hockey Academy in Jamshedpur.

Eight teams from various Jharkhand districts will compete in the under-19 category.

The tournament is divided into Pool A and Pool B, each consisting of four teams.

NTHA, Ranchi, Hazaribagh, and Bokaro make up Pool A.

Pool B includes Simdega, Gumla, Khunti, and Ramgarh.

All matches will take place at the Naval Tata Hockey Academy, Jamshedpur.

Teams will be accommodated at the JRD Tata Sports Complex for their comfort and preparation.

The Junior Championship is scheduled to conclude on August 8.

Following this, the Sub-Junior category matches will be held from August 10 to 14 at the same venue.

Sub-Junior teams include Gumla, Ranchi, NTHA, Simdega, Khunti, Hazaribagh, West Singhbhum, and East Singhbhum.

This tournament aims to provide valuable exposure to players, enhancing their skills and competitive spirit.
