President to Launch Three Major Railway Projects Worth Rs 6,294 Crore

New Rail Lines to Connect Mineral-Rich Districts of Odisha and Jharkhand

JAMSHEDPUR – President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate three strategic railway lines connecting key mineral-rich districts across Odisha and Jharkhand.

The South Eastern Railway plans massive infrastructure expansion. Moreover, these projects will transform regional connectivity.

“These lines will revolutionize local transportation,” remarked a railway official.

Strategic Rail Corridors

The Badampahar-Kendujhargarh line will span 82 kilometers. Meanwhile, it requires Rs 2,106 crore investment.

Furthermore, Bangriposi-Gorumahisani track stretches 86 kilometers. Besides, it costs Rs 2,549 crore.

Industrial Impact

East Singhbhum houses major steel industries. Additionally, new lines will boost mineral transportation.

On the other hand, Mayurbhanj lacks proper rail connectivity. However, these projects address this gap.

Economic Benefits

The projects will generate substantial employment opportunities. Moreover, they enhance access to healthcare facilities.

In addition, backward regions expect rapid development. Meanwhile, local businesses anticipate growth prospects.
