  • Crowds Gather for NDA Candidate Sandhya Singh

JAMSHEDPUR – Saryu Roy led padyatras in Mango backing NDA mayoral candidate Sandhya Singh, criticizing dynastic politics and urging voters to support new leadership.

MLA Saryu Roy conducted campaign marches in Mango on Monday. The rallies supported NDA mayoral nominee Sandhya Singh.

Large crowds joined the twin padyatras across the locality. Meanwhile, organizers described the turnout as significant.

The first march began near Tiguttu Bada Hanuman Temple. The second started close to Heera Hotel.

Supporters moved through major residential pockets. Moreover, the procession covered key commercial stretches.

Roy visited shops along New Purulia Road. He urged traders to vote for the NDA candidate.

He said overall development requires balanced growth. However, he stressed equal focus on trade and civic services.

Roy launched a sharp political attack during the march. He said voters will elect a mayor, not a proxy.

He criticized ambitions concentrated in one individual. “The public will choose a mayor, not a mayor’s spouse,” he said.

He added that seeking multiple offices reflects misplaced ambition. “One person cannot aim to be MP, MLA, minister and mayor,” he said.

He argued that new leaders deserve opportunity. Meanwhile, he claimed voters have rejected familiar faces.

Roy said he was campaigning door to door. He appealed for votes in favor of Sandhya Singh.

He asserted that support for the NDA is increasing. Moreover, he said nationalist forces are uniting in this election.

He contrasted ideological positions during his address. However, he said the civic poll has gained wider significance.

He called for honest leadership from ward councillor to mayor. He said voters are rejecting dynastic politics.

The padyatra later passed through Daiguttu and Deepsahi Colony. It also covered Post Office Road and Gaur Basti.

Several leaders joined the campaign procession. Sandhya Singh, Subodh Shrivastava and Ashutosh Roy were present.

BJP and JD(U) workers participated in large numbers. Meanwhile, local supporters accompanied the march throughout the route.

The Mango municipal election has drawn intense contest. Earlier reports noted divisions in the Mango election contest.

Nomination scrutiny also shaped the race. According to reports, three nominations rejected during review.

Election authorities have allotted official symbols. Details were outlined in the symbol allocation list.

Mango forms a key urban segment of Jamshedpur. The outcome is expected to influence civic governance.
