All India Gita Shloka Contest Set in Jamshedpur

35 Students to Compete at Ghorabandha Temple on October 8

JAMSHEDPUR – Sai Parivar Vishva Seva Sansthan will host the All India Gita Shloka Competition-2026 at Shri Sainath Devasthanam in Ghorabandha on October 8.

The organization will conduct the competition for the first time. A total of 35 students from various schools will participate. The Bhagavad Gita forms the central theme of this event.

Meanwhile, participants will compete in three distinct categories. Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior divisions will accommodate different age groups. The competition schedule runs from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

However, each contestant receives strict time limits for their performance. Participants get two minutes for shloka recitation at the venue. Moreover, they receive one minute to explain the verse’s meaning.

The organizing committee will announce results on the same day. Sai Parivar plans to conclude the event by afternoon. In addition, judges will evaluate all performances before announcing winners.

California Television Global will provide international broadcast coverage for the event. The program will reach audiences across 15 different countries. This exposure will showcase Indian culture and Bhagavad Gita’s teachings.

On the other hand, the institution aims to promote moral values. Spiritual awareness among children forms a key objective of the competition. Furthermore, cultural knowledge will be instilled through this initiative.

The competition venue is located in Ghorabandha, Telco area. Jamshedpur residents can attend the event to support young participants. The organization has previously hosted youth-focused cultural programs.

The participant list includes Aakriti Kumari and Bansh Bhole. Aanya Sinha, Aadya Singh, and Ipil Murmu will also compete. Besides, Ashmita Mahanty, Kashvi Singh, and Sayonika Dey have registered.

Moreover, Ojas Kumar, Aarohi Kumar, and Nandita Kumari will participate. Ishani Gupta, Saanvi Vishwakarma, and Aditya Kaushal Sinha complete this group. Similar events have strengthened cultural awareness in the city.

Saanvi Priya, Devansh Jha, and Vaishnavi Gorai have also enrolled. Samrith Das, Sahil Kumar Pal, and Harsh Mandal join them. In addition, Mitrajit Chakraborty, Dhanya Mishra, and Kanika Kumari will showcase talents.

Furthermore, Tharanya Sharma, Saransh Kumar, and Saisparsh Camy are participating. Avni Singh, Navya Kumari, and Anshika Kumari complete the roster. However, Keshav Kumar Dutta, Shreya Tiwary, and Tushar Das will compete.

The final participants include Anjali Kumari, Rhythm Bhardwaj, and Sneha Dwivedi. Anup Ranjan serves as President of Sai Parivar Vishva Seva Sansthan. The organization regularly conducts religious events at the temple complex.

The institution has appealed to parents and devotees for attendance. Citizens can encourage young participants at Shri Sainath Devasthanam. The temple has hosted multiple community programs throughout the year.
