Tata Steel Ranchi Team Wins Par Excellence at NCQC
Sahjedhar Team from CRE Office Qualifies for International Competition

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Limited’s Sahjedhar team from the CRE Ranchi office earned the par excellence award at the 39th National Convention on Quality Concepts.
The recognition ceremony took place on December 21, 2025. The event was held in Greater Noida. Moreover, the achievement qualifies the team for international competition.
Amritanshu served as the facilitator for the winning team. Suraj Kumar Sharma participated as a key member. Additionally, Birendra K Singh contributed to the success.
Narendra Kujur completed the four-member squad. The team represented the Corporate Services Division. However, they emerged as the sole qualifier from their division.
The team will now compete at the ICQC level. This international platform recognizes global quality excellence standards. Furthermore, it provides opportunities for showcasing innovative practices.
Tata Steel has consistently demonstrated excellence in quality initiatives. The company’s Vivek Vidyalaya teams recently won four gold awards at a national convention. Meanwhile, Tata Steel UISL has secured victories at previous quality conventions.
The organization’s mining division has also bagged NCQC awards in past years. In addition, the SP2 team previously won par excellence recognition. The UISL teams have earned gold at CCQC 2024 as well.
