Karim City College Holds Annual Sports Day at Armoury Ground

Education Faculty Organizes Athletic Meet with Tata Steel Sports Officials

JAMSHEDPUR – Karim City College’s Education Faculty organized its annual sports day on Thursday. The event took place at Armoury Ground in Bistupur. Captain Manish Kumar Sinha attended as chief guest.

Sinha serves as Sports Head at JRD Tata Steel. Dr. Hasan Imam also graced the occasion as guest. He works as international handball coach and Sports Division Manager.

B.Ed Semester 2 student Abhijit commanded the overall proceedings. College Principal Dr. Mohammad Riyaz boosted students’ morale during the event. He extended best wishes for the sports day celebrations.

Hemant Gupta from TSAF JRD attended the function. V Ramakrishnan represented TAF as Senior Manager Sports. Both officials witnessed the competitive athletic events throughout the day.

Satari Biruli from Semester 4 won best male athlete honors. Sunita Kerketta from Semester 4 claimed best female athlete title. However, Semester 4 students dominated the overall competition results.

The semester emerged as the overall winner across categories. Students competed in various track and field events. Moreover, team sports showcased inter-semester athletic rivalries effectively.

Prof. Sneha Chaudhary directed the entire program as sports teacher. Her planning ensured smooth execution of all events. In addition, faculty members supported the organizational efforts actively.

All teachers from Karim City College attended the sports day. They encouraged students throughout different competitive events. Faculty presence motivated participants to perform their best.

Department Head Dr. Sucheta Bhuiyan delivered the closing address. She congratulated winners and praised all participants’ efforts. Prof. Pankaj Kumar Jha anchored the program proceedings skillfully.

The sports day featured multiple athletic disciplines and competitions. Running races tested students’ speed and endurance capabilities. Field events evaluated strength and technical sporting abilities.
