JAMSHEDPUR – AJSU Party launched a public outreach campaign in Aasna panchayat of Ghatshila assembly constituency, appealing voters to elect NDA candidate Baabulal Soren.
Former minister Ramchandra Sahis led the campaign. Central general secretary Hare Lal Mahto accompanied him. Moreover, mukhiya Rajkumar Marandi attended the event.
Satyanarayan Mahto, Sukhlal Hembram and Tikait Mahto participated. In addition, Karan Mahto, Banbihari Mahto and Amal Mahto joined. Rakesh Murmu and other leaders were also present.
Sahis addressed an election meeting at Lohamaliya village. He criticized the state government’s approach toward tribal communities. However, he alleged police action against indigenous people.
“The Hemant government is using lathis on tribals,” Sahis said. He claimed people demanding justice faced police action. Moreover, he referenced incidents in Chaibasa and Ranchi.
“Lathis were used on descendants of Sido-Kanhu,” he stated. Sahis mentioned Surya Hansda’s death during his speech. Furthermore, he urged voters to teach the government.
Sahis questioned JMM and Congress’s commitment to Jharkhand. “People have understood their true intentions,” he claimed. Besides, he called them anti-Jharkhand forces.
The former minister labeled JMM as puppets. “Hemant Soren is controlled by anti-Jharkhand forces,” Sahis alleged. He noted RJD and Congress opposed Jharkhand’s formation. On the other hand, JMM now works with them.
Hare Lal Mahto emphasized BJP-AJSU’s role in creation. “We jointly created Jharkhand state,” Mahto stated. In contrast, he claimed only NDA can develop it.
Mahto highlighted development during NDA rule in state. However, he alleged progress stopped under Hemant Soren. Moreover, he claimed law and order situation deteriorated.
The campaign focused on Ghatshila assembly constituency voters. AJSU supports BJP candidate Baabulal Soren in elections. Furthermore, party leaders conducted door-to-door outreach activities.
Aasna panchayat witnessed significant political mobilization during campaign. Tribal communities form substantial voter base in region. Besides, local leaders actively participated in election meetings.
