JAMSHEDPUR – Citizens and leaders gathered at Sardar Patel’s statue in Bistupur to mark the 150th birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister.
The tribute ceremony took place at Kharkhai checkpoint in Bistupur. A large crowd assembled at the site. People offered floral tributes to the Iron Man of India.
MP Bidyut Baran Mahato attended the event. MLA Purnima Sahu from Jamshedpur East was also present. Moreover, numerous BJP leaders and workers participated in the ceremony.
Mahato addressed the gathering on this occasion. He highlighted Patel’s contribution to nation-building. The leader united various princely states, he said.
