JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy visited several Chhath ghats in Kadma and Sonari on Saturday to review the preparations for the upcoming festival.

The inspection began at Block No. 3 in Shastri Nagar, Kadma, and continued through Ramjanam Nagar and Sati Ghat. He later reached Sonari’s Domuhani Murti Visarjan Ghat and the L&T Ghat, among others.

During the visit, Roy examined the arrangements made for devotees and pointed out several areas needing immediate attention. He instructed the Deputy Town Commissioner of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee to ensure that all shortcomings were addressed promptly.

He emphasized that no devotee should face any inconvenience during the holy festival. “Every necessary measure must be taken for the comfort and safety of devotees,” Roy said during the inspection.
