JAMSHEDPUR – A public signature campaign under the slogan ‘Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod’ was organized at Sakchi Market on Wednesday, led by Maulana Ansar Khan and Ashok Singh Krantikari.
The event was conducted under the direction of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee and East Singhbhum District Congress Committee President Parvinder Singh. Former district vice president of the Congress, Ansar Khan, supervised the ongoing campaign as part of the statewide protest.
According to the organizers, the signature drive aimed to express public resentment against alleged electoral malpractice. The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from people of all faiths and sections of society.
Former district general secretary Ashok Singh Krantikari extended full support to the initiative. Participants signed in solidarity, demanding political accountability.
Ansar Khan stated that residents of Sakchi Market, regardless of religion, joined actively and signed the petition. “People from every background supported this call for justice,” a participant remarked.
