RAMGARH – A motorcyclist died in a tragic road accident at Chutupalu Valley near Saini Hotel in Ramgarh when a speeding Hyva truck struck his bike and a car.

The victim, a resident of Dulmi, was heading to Ramgarh for work on his motorcycle. However, a fast-moving Hyva truck (registration number UP64 BT-6132) coming from Ranchi toward Ramgarh rammed into his bike from behind.

The impact was severe, killing the biker instantly. Meanwhile, the Hyva also hit a nearby car, injuring two occupants slightly. The truck driver fled the spot after the crash.

Soon after the incident, hundreds of locals gathered, blocking one side of the road in protest. Police, led by station in-charge Naveen Pandey and SI Upendra Kumar, reached the site to manage traffic and restore order.

Besides, Ramgarh MP representative Dhananjay Kumar Putus also arrived with his team to assist in relief efforts. Police have begun investigating the case and are searching for the absconding driver.
