Meanwhile, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will land at the temporary helipad at Computa Ground at 12.25 pm. From there, he will drive to the residence and pay tribute at 12.30 pm. His stay is scheduled until 1.15 pm before returning to Ranchi by helicopter.

In addition to the Governor and the Chief Minister, several former ministers, MPs, MLAs, political representatives from different parties, intellectuals, and citizens from across the district are expected. The gathering is likely to run into thousands.

On the other hand, the district administration has tightened security. Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi and SSP Piyush Pandey have reviewed arrangements. Police forces have been deployed at the residence and Computa Ground. Barricading and traffic control measures are in place around the venue.

Ramdas Soren, a veteran of the Jharkhand movement, passed away on August 15 while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. He had been seriously injured after a fall in the bathroom at his Ghodabanda home. His death created a deep void in Kolhan’s political and social landscape. Tuesday’s event is turning his residence into a major meeting point for leaders and the public.
