Ramdas Soren, a veteran of the Jharkhand movement, passed away on August 15 while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. He had been seriously injured after a fall in the bathroom at his Ghodabanda home. His death created a deep void in Kolhan’s political and social landscape. Tuesday’s event is turning his residence into a major meeting point for leaders and the public.
