Stone Pelting and Stick Fight Erupts Between Two Communities

JHARIA – Violent clashes between two communities at Baniyahir ground in Jharia left six people injured with one person in critical condition requiring immediate medical attention.

The incident occurred when a dispute escalated into stone pelting. Moreover, both sides used sticks and clubs during the confrontation. All injured individuals are receiving treatment at private hospitals in Jharia.

Local residents immediately informed the nearby police station. However, Sindri SDPO and Circle Officer rushed to the scene. Additionally, police teams from all Sindri subdivision stations reached the location.

Furthermore, law enforcement officials controlled the volatile situation. Besides, police had to use mild force during the intervention. The area remains tense following the violent episode.

Peace committee members are mediating between both communities. Meanwhile, police officials continue negotiations to restore normalcy. On the other hand, authorities maintain heavy deployment in the locality.

One community claims a youth faced sudden attack. Moreover, they allege the attackers recently arrived from Delhi. Additionally, the complainants describe the assailants as Bangladeshi relatives.

However, the other community presents different version of events. They state children were playing at Baniyahir ground. In contrast, they claim argument over pathway led to violence.

The confrontation damaged several houses and vehicles. Besides, both sides engaged in extensive stone throwing. Furthermore, the dispute quickly spread across the neighborhood.

Sindri SDPO Ashutosh Kumar Satyam confirmed the incident details. “Children from two communities disputed over pathway access,” he stated. Moreover, he emphasized situation control and ongoing investigation.

The official added that further action is underway. Additionally, authorities are monitoring community tensions closely. Peace efforts continue between conflicting groups.
