Key Points:

  • Arjun Munda visits Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to check Shibu Soren’s health
  • Meeting held with family members and phone discussion with Hemant Soren
  • Prayers offered for quick recovery of former Jharkhand Chief Minister

JAMSHEDPUR – Former Union Minister Arjun Munda visited Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi to inquire about the health condition of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren, accompanied by his wife.

Arjun Munda traveled to the prominent Delhi medical facility today. He met with the attending physicians to gather updates on Shibu Soren’s condition. The veteran JMM leader, fondly known as ‘Dishom Guru’, has been receiving treatment at the hospital.

During the visit, Munda interacted with Soren’s family members present at the hospital. Meanwhile, he also had a telephonic conversation with current Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The discussion focused on the health status of the JMM supremo.

However, this visit highlights the respect across party lines for Shibu Soren. The 80-year-old tribal leader has been a dominant figure in Jharkhand politics for decades. Moreover, he served as Chief Minister multiple times and played a crucial role in the state’s formation.

On the other hand, Arjun Munda himself has served as Jharkhand Chief Minister thrice. The former Union Tribal Affairs Minister represents the BJP in the state. In addition, both leaders have been instrumental in advocating for tribal rights and development.

Health Concerns and Recovery

Furthermore, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is known for treating high-profile political figures. The medical facility has advanced cardiac and neurological departments. Besides, it regularly handles cases of senior politicians from across the country.

The Soren family has maintained privacy regarding specific health details. Nevertheless, political leaders from various parties have been expressing concern. In contrast, the JMM leadership remains optimistic about a full recovery.
