MEDININAGAR – A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday evening near Langarkot village on the Japla-Pathra main road when a nilgai suddenly ran onto the road, colliding with a moving bike.
Two youths from Barewa village under Haider Nagar police station, identified as 22-year-old Goloo Kumar and 18-year-old Sudhir Kumar, were seriously injured in the accident.
Fatal Crash Shocks Locals
Local villagers promptly transported the victims to Hussainabad Sub-Divisional Hospital for urgent medical attention. However, doctors declared Goloo Kumar dead on arrival, while Sudhir Kumar received primary treatment before being referred to MMCH Medininagar due to his critical condition.
Police Intervene After Tragic Incident
Hussainabad police reached the hospital upon receiving information about the accident. The deceased’s body was taken into custody for post-mortem, which was conducted on Thursday before handing it over to the family.
Victims Were Returning Home
According to sources, the victims were returning home from Aurangabad, Bihar, when the accident occurred. The nilgai, which was grazing near the fields, suddenly ran onto the road, causing the bike to lose balance and crash.
