RANCHI – The Meteorological Centre has forecast a gradual rise in minimum temperatures across Jharkhand starting Friday.
Several districts in Jharkhand continue experiencing cold conditions. Gumla leads with the lowest reading.
Meanwhile, Daltonganj recorded 7.5 degrees Celsius amid the ongoing cold spell.
Temperature Variations
The mercury dipped significantly in multiple regions across the state. Chatra registered 5.2 degrees.
Moreover, Lohardaga saw temperatures drop to 5.6 degrees Celsius. Simdega followed with 7.5 degrees.
Urban Centers Report
The state capital Ranchi logged 9.4 degrees Celsius today. Jamshedpur noted 12 degrees.
Meanwhile, Bokaro Steel City experienced chilly conditions at 8.2 degrees Celsius.
Future Outlook
Weather experts predict a gradual warming trend as February approaches. The shift signals winter’s end.
However, residents should maintain precautions during early mornings and late nights.
“The temperature rise will become more noticeable next month,” a meteorological official stated.
