JAMSHEDPUR – The new railway station building at Adityapur is now fully constructed and ready for use. On Tuesday morning, Chakradharpur Division’s DRM, Tarun Huria, inspected the facilities and confirmed the station’s readiness for operations.
The platforms at the station have already commenced regular train services, and the building is now fully functional. During his visit, DRM Huria highlighted plans to expand train services originating from Adityapur, aimed at reducing congestion at Tatanagar Station.
Facility Inauguration and Operational Updates
Though the station’s building has not been officially inaugurated yet, operations on platforms 1 and 2 have begun. The move aims to facilitate better passenger handling and efficient train movement.
Future Expansion Plans
DRM Huria announced that Adityapur Station is being developed to accommodate more trains. He stated, “Our objective is to decongest Tatanagar Station by redirecting some services to Adityapur. Preparations are underway for introducing new train routes soon.”
This development is expected to enhance rail connectivity in the region, benefiting both daily commuters and long-distance travelers.
