MEDININAGAR – A nine-day Shri Ramcharitmanas Path Mahayagna commenced on January 17 at the Shiv Temple on Police Line Road in Shantipuri, Palamu. The devotional event has transformed the local atmosphere, drawing scores of devotees daily.
Daily Rituals and Discourses
The Mahayagna begins each morning with a traditional puja, followed by recitations of the Shri Ramcharitmanas. Under the guidance of Pandit Ramanand Baba Vyas, a team of scholars, including Pandit Naveen Vaidya, Alok Pathak, Vishal Pathak, and Pankaj Pandey, performs the recitations.
Evening sessions feature discourses based on the Shri Ramcharitmanas, led by the learned storytellers. These sessions, held from 4 PM, provide spiritual enrichment to attendees.
Concluding Ceremonies
The Maha Yagna will culminate on January 26 with Vedic rituals, including the final offering (Purnahuti). Organizers have worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success, with significant contributions from Dr. Rajeev Nayan and the temple committee members.
