JAMSHEDPUR – Two chess arbiters from Jamshedpur have achieved senior national status in recent examinations conducted by AICF.
Shubhangi Verma has emerged victorious in the national arbiter examination. She completed the rigorous two-day assessment in Bhubaneswar with distinction. Meanwhile, her journey in chess arbitration began just two years ago.
Growing Experience in Chess Administration
Verma has already officiated several prestigious tournaments since 2022. She has demonstrated exceptional skills in managing chess competitions. Moreover, her expertise was particularly notable during the National Under-9 Championship.
Proven Track Record
Anirudh Kumar Sahu’s qualification came through a different route. He attended a specialized seminar in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. Furthermore, his decade-long experience includes officiating at various competitive levels.
