The notices targeted leaders from four districts. These included Palamu, Dhanbad, Latehar, and Lohardagga.

Committee coordinator Amulya Neeraj Khalko participated in the discussions. Meanwhile, member Anadi Brahma also attended the crucial meeting.

Key Leaders Facing Action

Several prominent local leaders received the notices. Among them was Dhanbad Jharia block president Imtiyaz Ali.

On the other hand, Latehar leaders Pappu Paswan and Salam Ansari faced questions. Moreover, Lohardagga’s Nisar Ahmed and Salim Ansari came under scrutiny.

History of Internal Conflicts

The Congress party had faced similar challenges in 2019. Back then, several leaders were suspended for anti-party activities.

Meanwhile, the state unit has been dealing with factionalism. Internal conflicts have affected party performance in recent elections.

“The party constitution has clear guidelines about disciplinary matters,” a senior party official explained.
