JAMSHEDPUR – Makar Sankranti brought an air of festivity across Jamshedpur, as people from all walks of life celebrated the occasion with enthusiasm. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das hosted a gathering at his residence, marking the festival with traditional customs and treats.
Das, joined by his supporters, relished festive delicacies like curd, flattened rice (chuda), sesame sweets (tilkut), and sesame laddoos (til ke lai). He conveyed his heartfelt greetings for Makar Sankranti, Tusu, and Pongal to the people of Jharkhand.
