JAMSHEDPUR – A Tata Steel canteen employee sustained serious injuries in a road accident at Birsa Nagar. The victim, identified as Budhram, was hit by a speeding car while returning from Sidhgora after dropping off his wife.

The accident occurred in Zone 7 of Birsa Nagar, where the car reportedly hit Budhram’s bike and several other pedestrians before fleeing. “The driver showed no signs of slowing down and escaped with the vehicle,” said Budhram from his hospital bed. He is undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital for severe injuries.

High-Speed Chaos in Birsa Nagar

Eyewitnesses claim the car was moving at a dangerously high speed and struck multiple people. Despite the commotion, the driver managed to evade capture, leaving authorities to investigate the incident further.

Police Probe Underway

Local police have registered a case and are working to identify the driver and the vehicle. Community members have expressed concern over increasing reckless driving in the area.
